I’m Maria Atamas, an illustrator and director specialising in animation and editorial illustration. I’m inspired by little moments of everyday life and its poetic meanings, which I transfer through imagery and my short animated films. I create transcendent and ambiguous atmospheres, working with textures, limited colour palettes and unexpected plot twists.

I plan to continue exploring the field of animation, hopefully studying a Master's. I have applied to MA Illustration at AUB, and MA Animation at RCA. Moreover, I aim to work as an animator and illustrator along with my education.
