These two pieces aim to express the significant effect littering has on the environment, no matter if it is done intentionally or not. Using increased scale, I aimed to force the viewer to feel engulfed in waste like our wildlife is. Mimicking a front room setup, the beanbag representations are intended to play on the idea of habitats and how we are ever-rapidly creating an unliveable habitat for native animals and plants. The intention of my video of work is to juxtapose tranquil, everyday sounds with uncomfortable visuals and force the observer to reflect on their own littering habits by hinting at the person who may have left the litter through text. 

All materials used were second-hand. I sourced my fabrics and thread from a large scale crafts recycling store and used old tech including a second-hand telly for the visual aspects. It was imperative to me that this piece would give new life to waste that may otherwise have contributed to the issues I intend my project to stand against.

I would like to work in prop design or creative direction and intend to do a masters in the future.
