This project explores British wildflowers and Hungarian lace and embroidery, but explores them in a more abstract and contemporary way. I am inspired by the detailed patterns, textures and colours found within Hungarian textiles. Within this project, I have distorted and stylised floral shapes, mixing bold forms with more detailed drawn elements to create contrast. This approach has allowed me to develop an edgy Spring/Summer womenswear collection that feels modern and expressive.

I hope to continue developing my creative and technical skills within the textiles and fashion industry while enhancing my portfolio.
