From What I Remember
My Final Major Project explores cognitive memory and the way memories can become distorted, exaggerated and fragmented over time. Using childhood photographs as inspiration, I created digitally manipulated prints through layering, colour shifts and image distortion to reflect how memories are reconstructed in the mind.
The collection combines expressive colour, playful digital prints and simple womenswear silhouettes, allowing the textiles to become the main storytelling feature. Overall, the project celebrates nostalgia, self-expression and the beautifully imperfect nature of remembering.
