Jonny Langridge

I am a creative practitioner whose work centres around archival experience, fashion production and visual storytelling. Working across fashion, publishing and contemporary culture, I’m inspired by the importance of storytelling through design, embedded in heritage and branding. I see value in that everybody deserves to be seen, heard and remembered.

My work is informed by experience within live fashion environments, archival collections and creative production, including London Fashion Week, Graduate Fashion Week and The Guardian News and Media Archive. Through these experiences, I began to develop an interest in how cultural and personal histories are documented, shared and reinterpreted across both physical and digital platforms.

Through extensive research, I identified a growing demand for more intentional forms of digital user-experiences. As concerns surrounding artificial intelligence, data ownership and permanence of digital content continue to grow, many people are becoming more conscious of how their personal histories are stored and shared online. Whilst platforms such as Ancestry allow users to engage with their past, Ourchive presents a living archive reframing it as being ‘an archivist of your own life’. The platform proposes to be a curated, selective space with shared generational accessibility to pass onto future generations so that no story goes untold.

Ourchive was named a winner of the AUB Innovation Award 2026 and has since been selected for the AUB Innovation Studio incubator programme. It has also been shortlisted for the Graduate Fashion Foundation New Business Award and Project Pitch at Graduate Fashion Week 2026.

Plans after degree

Following graduation, I plan to continue developing Ourchive through AUB's Innovation Studio Incubator programme, establishing the foundations as an entrepreneur. Alongside this, I hope to build a career within creative strategy, marketing and production with further experience across fashion and publishing.
