Let it Out

Let it Out is a proposal for an animated short film: a deep dive into the concept of imposed masculinity.

I've created a range of audiovisual elements to help bring this story to life. Born from a personal experience, this film aims to ignite awareness and empathy for those grappling with the societal pressures of masculinity. It's designed to resonate with adults, young adults and teenagers who are questioning their own masculinity or haven't yet explored their gender expression. Ultimately, Let it Out seeks to spark vital conversations about mental health, revealing how the rigid rules of masculinity can impact us, and offering a heartfelt portrayal of individuals compelled to adopt masculine traits.
