This project explores hybrid identity through the architecture, colour, and mythology of Siracusa, particularly the transformation of Arethusa. It merges Sicilian heritage with British influence, reflecting a personal journey of migration and adaptation. Informed by primary research across Sicily and the UK, the collection translates architectural contrasts into four outfits, balancing soft draping with structured forms through leather, knit and silk. By reinterpreting traditional Sicilian craftsmanship within a contemporary context, the project transforms memory and emotion into wearable narratives of belonging.
