This is a collection of work developed as my BA (Hons) Textiles Design final collection, inspired by deep-sea and bioluminescent corals. 

This selection of samples was explored through digital print and freehand machine embroidery (Irish machine). The samples highlight my creative interpretation of a modern eclectic fashion collection using hand-painted techniques alongside digital development. Looking at the interactions of light on the water surface as well as iridescent shells and sea creatures, I explored stitch motifs and hand-painted prints on metallic fabrics for an otherworldly modern collection.
