I am an innovative textile designer, gaining inspiration from my natural surroundings and an enthusiasm for luxury interiors. My creative practice explores mark making and pattern experimentation, placing an emphasis on sustainability and material quality. My work is both playful and technically refined, curating sophisticated collections for a high-end interiors context informed by a knowledge of the industry.

Planting the Seeds of Tomorrow is a luxury interiors collection inspired by British kitchen gardens, gaining visual stimulus from plant beds and the surrounding architecture. My intention for this project was to celebrate the culture of enjoying sustainable, locally grown food. Through my designs, I aimed to illustrate a sense of community, something I believe is particularly important in the current political climate. I used high-quality British materials for my samples such as hemp linens, dead stock cottons and sustainable paints to help achieve this.

Contextual research is integral to my design process as well as lots of drawing development, focusing on techniques such as screen print and hand-painting to best display my strengths as an artist.

I am hoping to work in London in the interior textiles industry.
