My collection is based on my stepdad’s life, from his teen years to stepping into fatherhood in his early 20s and later becoming a policeman. I’m designing for young men who grew up fast, like teen dads or older brothers who had to take on responsibility early. It’s a technical menswear collection with jackets, trousers, shirts and knitwear. The silhouette moves through his life stages, with oversized shapes from his teens, softer knitted layers linked to fatherhood and more structured elements drawn from police uniform. The aim is to show how clothes can hold emotion quietly.
