I am a BA (Hons) Textiles Design graduate from Arts University Bournemouth with a strong interest in storytelling through textiles and surface design. My work explores how fabrics can communicate narrative, emotion and identity through texture, colour and intricate detail. Inspired by personal experiences, visual culture and historical references, I aim to create textiles that feel both expressive and immersive.

I am particularly interested in working within the arts and couture market, where craftsmanship and conceptual design can co-exist. My practice combines traditional hand-crafted techniques with contemporary processes, allowing me to experiment with layered surfaces and tactile outcomes. I am confident using embroidery, digital print and stitch techniques, often incorporating embellishment and fabric manipulation to add depth and character to my work.

Sustainability is an important consideration within my creative practice and I aim to make thoughtful choices regarding materials and processes wherever possible. I am interested in exploring how couture-level textile design can be developed in a more responsible and conscious way.

Through my work, I hope to continue pushing the boundaries of textile storytelling while developing innovative and meaningful surface designs within the arts and fashion industry.

In the future, I hope to apply for internships and placements within the fashion industry to gain experience and eventually find a full-time job.
