This collection explores the emotional impact of striving for perfec­tion and the loss of identity that can come with constantly trying to achieve more. Drawing from personal experience, the project re­flects the pressure to excel and the feeling of becoming disconnected from yourself in the process. Through visual exploration, draping, and screen printing, distorted and enlarged shapes developed from fabric manipulation are translated into expressive garment forms, capturing ideas of tension, fragmentation, and the gradual loss of self.

Artist work by Franz Erhard Walther helped in­form my exploration of how fabric can hold shape and memory through the creases and impres­sions left behind. This idea influenced my draping and textile experimentation, where manipulated forms and permanent marks within the fabric be­came a visual representation of emotion, process, and the lasting effects of striving for perfection.
