Ahmed Tag M. (b. 1996) is a creative and film director/editor, producer, researcher, and impact producer. Holding an MA in Film Practice from Arts University Bournemouth and a BA in Journalism and Digital Publishing from Alexandria University. Interested in socially impactful creative communication.

Working with film, photography, sound, written prose, and poetry, Ahmed questions themes of belonging, melancholy, and oppression. His practice interweaves documentation with fiction and poetry, crafting a perspective on reality as mystical, intimate, and contradictory. Cities, friendship, time, death, and cynicism are recurring motifs in Ahmed’s work, reflecting his ongoing inquiry into how personal and collective memory intersect.

Through a hybrid methodology of practice and cross-disciplinary projects, Ahmed aims to create work that challenges mainstream narrative structures while remaining accessible to diverse audiences. He's currently developing SEA AFTER DARK, an online project experimenting with short-form video art and filmmaking.
