Making Creative Connections

To celebrate Earth Day 2022 (22 April), Dr Kevan Manwaring, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing, has organised a week-long programme of events exploring the environment through creativity: author talks, writing activities and playshops, open mic, and more!

Highlights include Guest Talks by authors Anita Sethi (I Belong Here) and Nicola Chester (On Gallows Down); a special session in the amazing MoDiP; a talk about making AUB a Hedgehog Friendly Campus; an Art and Ecology Playshop in the Innovation Studio; wild writing around campus; an ‘Earth Bards’ open mic at L’arte coffee shop; and an AUB Open Lecture on co-designing the village of the future.

Events are free and open to all, but some have limited numbers, so booking is recommended.
