Event overview
Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) warmly welcomes you to the Undergraduate Summer Shows 2026, a highly anticipated celebration of creativity, collaboration and innovation that reflects the values at the heart of the University’s culture.
On Thursday 2 July at 18.00, AUB opens its doors to students and their families, alumni, industry professionals and thousands of visitors, inviting you to be part of the dream factory that AUB is. Set against the backdrop of our award-winning campus, the University will once again transform into a vibrant mini arts festival, celebrating the talent and achievements of our soon-to-be graduates.
The Summer Shows showcase the work of AUB’s artists, designers, makers, event managers, and performers, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all those exhibiting and being celebrated this evening.
Guests can enjoy a live summer soundtrack curated by TheGallery’s professional DJ, William Hernandez Abreu, alongside pop-up bars serving a range of drinks, a barbecue, and much more. A maker’s market will also be running, offering the opportunity to discover and purchase handmade items and original work created by AUB students.
AUB is recognised for excellence both institution-wide and through the outstanding achievements of its students. In 2026, AUB was named the leading art and design specialist university outside London by the Guardian University Guide 2026. Our students continue to demonstrate exceptional creativity and professional excellence, winning multiple awards at prestigious events including New Blades 2025 and the Kodak/NAHEMI Student Commercial Awards.
AUB’s achievements also include being ranked first in the People & Planet University League, runner-up for Specialist University of the Year in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026 and advancing 13 places to a global QS ranking of #33 for employment.
Join us as we celebrate creativity, talent and the future of the creative industries at AUB.
