Location: TheGallery, AUB Campus
Join us for the formal opening and private view of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2026, an exhibition celebrating excellence in contemporary drawing. The exhibition provides a platform for emerging, mid-career and established artists to exhibit alongside some of the most accomplished practitioners working today.
This special evening marks the official launch of TheGallery’s 2026–2027 Exhibition Programme at Arts University Bournemouth.
A formal welcome and speeches will take place at 18.00, featuring an overview of both exhibitions and recognising this exciting moment in TheGallery’s calendar as we begin a new season of exhibitions and events.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet Professor Anita Taylor, Founding Director of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize (since 1994), artist and Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee. An exhibiting artist will also talk about the project and exhibition.
The evening will be accompanied by live music from DJ Nazdez.
This is an open event and all are welcome – no RSVP required.
