Course: BA (Hons) Arts and Events Production (now Events Management)
A prominent figure within the festivals industry worldwide, since her time at AUB Jo Vidler has made a huge impact on the global festival scene.
Jo has been the director of some of the UK’s most exciting festivals, including Secret Garden Party and Wilderness in the UK, to co-founding Day Zero Festival in Mexico, starting Wonderfruit in Thailand and working on Burning Man in the US.
Jo is currently a Creative Director of elrowFamily in Barcelona which organises over 100 exuberant dance parties or shows around the world each year, resulting in spectacular immersive clubbing.
Jo described choosing to study Arts and Events Production (now Creative Events Management) at AUB to Marie Claire; ‘I realised early on I wasn’t the best performer and what I preferred was coming up with the creative ideas and transporting people to a different reality. So I decided to study a BA in Arts and Events.’
