Join us for a festive and fun-filled Christmas wreath making workshop!
Get into the holiday spirit with Arts University Bournemouth and create your very own beautiful wreath to hang on your door. This workshop gives you the perfect opportunity to learn the art of wreath making and unleash your creativity.
Your friendly instructors, Rob and his family, will expertly guide you through every step of the wreath making process. You'll learn how to appropriately wrap the moss base to the gold wreath ring and securely affix the decorative green foliage on top, as well as holly and ivy to add texture and interest to your wreath.
You'll have the chance to add a selection of natural decorations, to add a pop of colour, including dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, pine cones and acorns. As well as ribbons, glittered holly, artificial snow-effect leaves and berries for accent colours and sparkle. When you're done, your wreath will be ready to take home and display!
Throughout the morning you'll settle in for a truly festive affair and enjoy some mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine along the way. Christmas music will also be provided to create a warm, festive atmosphere.
We recommend wearing a warm festive jumper, to boost your holiday cheer, and come in clothes that you don't mind getting messy! Leaving smelling of pine needles is guaranteed.
All the materials needed to create your stunning wreaths will be provided and is included in the cost of the workshop. Gloves (for handling prickly holly) and other protective clothing can be provided, if required.
Whether you're a beginner or have experience, you'll be guided and encouraged step by step. Just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to make something truly special.
Please note: Each workshop has a maximum of 12 spaces, so booking is essential.
