Date and times: Thursday 5 February 2026, 17.30–19.00
Location: TheGallery, Arts University Bournemouth
Join us for the launch of Silhouettes, the first-ever collection from writer, editor and podcaster Dale Hurst.
Silhouettes brings together nine short stories and 14 poems, spanning a range of genres from horror to comedy. The collection explores the shapes and shadows at the edge of human nature, with stories and voices that shift between the unsettling, the humorous, and the quietly reflective.
The book was developed following Dale’s MA in Creative Writing and Publishing at Bournemouth University.
The evening will include an opportunity to hear from the author, as Dale discusses the creative journey behind the collection, a piece of which was inspired by art itself, followed by a book signing.
All are welcome to attend.
