"And here’s how the story goes.
Orpheus and The Underworld. That he walks out of the underworld with Eurydice following behind – told to walk out and not look back, that if he looks back then she’ll be lost forever.
That’s what the seers see and the prophecies say.
And they all look at the story Orpheus’ way…"
On a street, near a park that could be round the corner from anywhere, Goddesses and Gods meet in a caff to watch the world go by. And today, an old man is sitting on a bench next to an old oak tree, waiting.
You are invited to witness a story. A re-telling of an ancient Greek myth, through spoken word and song.
A story of love, death, karaoke, fate and the world bursting into colour.
Of Orpheus, a boy who grew up singing but left it behind as the colours faded from his world. And Eurydice, a girl who grew up to define her own destiny.
