Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has delivered a positive performance in the 2024 National Student Survey (NSS) published this month.
The NSS, which surveys graduating students on their university experience, found that AUB had improved across all seven of the key themes: Teaching on my course, learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources, and student voice.
The Survey found that students rated the University:
- 91% for How good are teaching staff at explaining things.
- 93% for How well have the library resources supported your learning.
- 87% for How often does your course challenge you to achieve your best work.
- 85% for How well have teaching staff supported your learning.
- 82% for How well has your course developed your skills that you think you will need for your future.
Following the results, Professor Paul Gough, Principal and Vice-Chancellor at AUB, comments, “I am very pleased with this year’s NSS; the results are testament to the hard work for all our colleagues and they are a great achievement.
"The results demonstrate our unwavering commitment to the student experience, and I would like to personally thank all our students for their time and engagement with the survey.”
The news follows the recent announcement that AUB has retained its Ofsted Outstanding rating which it has had since 2018, cementing the University’s place as one of the country’s leading creative, arts and design providers.
