Reasons to study
Events don’t just happen. Festivals, celebrations, exhibitions, pop-up events and multi-media events need creative, energetic and well-organised people to make them a reality. On this course, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge to conceive, plan and manage successful creative events.
Creative Events Management league table success
According to the Complete University Guide, we're ranked second for Graduate prospects (for the second year running) and fourth overall against other courses in Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation and Tourism. We're also in the Top 10 Sunday Time Good University Guide!
- Three-year degree
- Dedicated computer suite
- Access to sound, projection and production equipment
- Six-week industry work placement in second year
The course is taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, tutorial and workshops. We'll teach you the key skills to thrive and innovate in this industry. You’ll create a live event every year and work with creative practitioners and external clients.
Each year, you'll work in teams to conceptualise, produce and manage an event, taking the learnings from the previous year to make the next event even better. In second year, you'll have the opportunity to respond to and work on a client brief.
