Graduates from our flagship course, BA (Hons) Make-up, Hair and Prosthetics, have gone on to forge careers in feature film, television, theatre, fashion and more.
In the film industry, they've worked on productions such as 28 Years Later, Dune: Part Two, Paddington in Peru, The Gentleman, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Redcon-1, Beauty and the Beast, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mummy, Star Wars: Rogue One, Spectre, Cinderella, and War Machine.
Within television, our graduates have worked on House of the Dragon, Bridgerton, Rivals, The Capture, Doctor Who, Penny Dreadful, Line of Duty, Ted Lasso, The Last of Us, Wheel of Time, Gentleman Jack, Carnival Row, The Crown, Game of Thrones, Coronation Street, Rellik, The Durrells, Granchester, Liar Liar, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Secret, Little Boy Blue, and Casualty.
Theatre credits within the wig department include companies such as English National Opera, Peter Owen Wigs, Zurich Opera, Chichester Festival Theatre, Glyndebourne Opera, Welsh National Opera, The Wig Store and the Royal Shakespeare Company. They've also worked on productions including The Book of Mormon, Tina the Musical, Hamilton, Kinky Boots, School of Rock, Miss Saigon, 42nd Street, Jersey Boys, La Cage aux Folles, Cabaret, Mary Poppins, Wicked, Hairspray, Shrek the Musical, Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia!
Other graduates have found careers at prosthetic makers, designers, and wax works, including Mark Coulier, Millennium FX, Kristyan Mallett Make-up Effects, Barry Gower FX, Square Peg Studios, Altered States FX, Harry Potter Studio Tour, Maldon Studios and Madame Tussauds (Merlin Magic).
Others still have found success within freelance fashion and editorial work, with credits such as London Fashion Week, MAC Cosmetics, Charlotte Tilbury, L’Oreal, Illamasqua, Fenty Beauty, Bobbi Brown and London Queer Fashion Show.
