Arrival and your first week
Welcome to BA Animation at Arts University Bournemouth where we look forward to spending time working with and supporting you as you make great leaps forward in your learning and understanding of the creative sphere!
Starting at AUB
You'll be assigned a teaching group for drawing and animation. On Mondays, there will be timetabled access to life-drawing rooms to work alongside tutors. On Tuesdays, all essay-writing lectures and seminar groups will be conducted online. On Wednesdays, animation keynote lectures will be delivered online followed by timetabled studio access with a tutor. On Thursdays and Fridays, there will be timetabled access to the animation studio to review ongoing project work with tutors. There will be some planned exceptions to this during the term (such as drawing weeks) and you'll be informed of this well in advanced by your tutors.
When not timetabled for studio access it is expected that you'll work independently off-campus on your projects. There will be timetabled online tutorial support for remote project work.
Induction and your Timetable
You'll be emailed soon to enrol onto the course. It is important that you enrol by Monday 28 September so that we can set up your timetable.
Once you have enrolled you'll be able to set up your student login to access your email account and more information via the myAUB portal.
If you enrol before the 28 September then your timetable will be available through myAUB by Wednesday 7 October. This will let you know when and where to arrive on campus in the first week and the timings and how to access any remote learning sessions.
