Arts University Bournemouth has been named the UK’s top specialist art and design university in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.
The arts institution is celebrating a strong set of sector-leading results, after being named a Top UK modern university and the UK’s top specialist art and design university by The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.
Retaining its TEF Gold rating, the highest ranking Teaching Excellence award available to UK higher education institutions, AUB was also named a top 50 UK university this year by The Complete University Guide.
The Sunday Times Good University Guide ranked AUB top 5 of all UK universities for Teaching Quality and Student Experience, rising more than 50 places, with both its Architecture and Creative Events Management degrees scoring 11th and 7th in the UK.
AUB’s successful National Student Survey (NSS) results this year contributed to substantial score rises, with overall Student Satisfaction placing AUB 20th of all 158 UK universities, and Acting, Creative Writing, Dance and VFX programmes scoring 100% for Student Satisfaction too.
The report praises AUB's status as a small, specialist art design, media and performance institution that "packs a big punch in terms of student satisfaction with teaching quality and the wider university experience."
