A group of eight alumni and students from Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) are set to host an exhibition at the Urasando Garden Gallery, Tokyo.

The Art of Creative Careers: a Peek Inside is a four-day event comprising a series of interactive creative sessions, demonstrations and talks as well as an exhibition of graduate work including a film and animation showcase.

The students, who come from a range of AUB courses including BA (Hons) Illustration, BA (Hons) Fine Art, BA (Hons) Make-up for Media and Performance, BA (Hons) Animation Production, and BA (Hons) Textiles Design, will be joined by Haruyo Nelien, the University's Senior International Officer for Japan.

“We have students and alumni from Japan, Korea, and Wales exhibiting, all of whom have studied at AUB in the UK, making it a very international event," says Haruyo.

“With these brilliant artists, we’re able to showcase the very best of British art and design in higher education and we can also demonstrate the career opportunities within the creative industries.

“This is a great event for anyone interested in studying a creative arts subject abroad."

The exhibition opens at the Ursando Garden Gallery on Friday 22 November, running daily until Monday 25 November.
