Course information
Across an eight-week term, students will dive into brand-new creative projects that challenge and inspire. They’ll experiment with a wide range of materials, develop technical skills, and build confidence as they create original, portfolio-worthy pieces.
Every week introduces new industry-informed techniques using specialist equipment and professional materials. From sculpting and casting to moulding and structural modelmaking, students gain hands-on experience in a real creative studio environment.
No prior experience is needed – just curiosity, enthusiasm, and clothes that can handle a little creative mess!
Students are guided step-by-step by their experienced tutor, Amelie, through practical exercises, live demonstrations, and inspiring examples. Complex techniques are broken down into achievable, engaging processes that encourage experimentation and problem-solving.
Students are encouraged to embrace their individuality and build their own unique visual language – a foundation that can support future study in art, design, architecture, film, product design, and beyond. We don’t just teach skills – we nurture creative thinkers.
Every young maker in our studio is respected, supported, and encouraged. We foster an inclusive environment where creativity thrives, friendships grow and students feel confident expressing themselves.
