Tamara Saunders

In my childhood, we were taught a lot about plastic pollution, a lesson that has profoundly influenced my creative journey. My work delves into the intricate dance between human innovation and environmental consequence, seeking to illuminate the unseen connections in our everyday lives.

Through a fusion of mixed media and recycled materials, I strive to transform waste into art, narrating stories of renewal and resilience. Each piece is a reflection on the pervasive impact of plastic on our ecosystems, challenging viewers to reconsider their relationship with consumption. By turning trash into treasure, I aim to raise awareness and foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world, echoing the lessons of my youth and advocating for a sustainable future.

Plans after degree

I plan to stay with my sister in America for a few months and do some freelance painting whilst writing a book I've been working on during my degree.
