The garment shown was inspired by the history of witches, exploring the accusations against women throughout history. Looking into the methods used to try women of witchcraft and also the reasons behind the trials.

Hand-embroidered to create detailed surface decoration, with around 160 hours of work on the embroidery. A combination of glass beading, cotton threads and wool fibres make up the surface detail.

Progression to undergraduate, BA (Hons) Hand Embroidery Degree at the Royal School of Needlework.
