When the sun rises tomorrow is a video and installation centring around a ritualistic, participatory performance on the day of the spring equinox 2024. 

In a playful ritual of re-enchantment and (re)connection, an ecofeminist community of care is explored. Performing with emblematic flags made from natural dye and pencil on fabric, participants intuitively celebrate and contemplate the significance of the equinox. The footage of the event culminates in a video work that is self-reflective of its process, and the installation holding the video comprises bean bags and curtains made from the fabric from the video. Through this work, (re)connection as a form of protest is explored.
