BA (Hons) Acting

Lucy Rose Hutchinson

Throughout her final year at AUB, Lucy performed as Sylvia in The Wolves of Willoughby Chase, adapted by Russ Tunney and directed by Tamsin Fessey. More recently, she played the witty Lucietta in La Casa Nova, the classic Italian farce written by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Kenneth Robertson. As well as performing on stage, Lucy discovered a love for working behind-the-scenes, working as the deputy stage manager on Spring Awakening, directed by Craig Norman and an assistant stage manager on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Aileen Gonsalves.

Plans after degree

Following graduation, Lucy plans to move home, to South London, to continue developing her acting skills, and resume her acting career. Whilst hoping to be cast as a professional actor, she will remain busy writing and devising her own work with colleagues from AUB. Namely, she wants to continue developing a current work-in-progress piece with Auriga Theatre Company, comprised of six AUB actors!
