As an aspiring costume designer, I have a passion for creating costume that speak emotions or compliment the storyline.
Throughout my time at university, I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from both live and hypothetical briefs, with a focus on film and theatre. Film work is something I have found a keen interest in, I worked as the costume designer for the BFI grad film You Free Tonight, including being on set dressing and altering.
As well as this, I created hypothetical designs for my childhood TV show Dungeons and Dragons, reimagined from animated to live action, taking inspiration from the original 1980s show but adding a more fantasy-based atmosphere.
Plans after degree
After graduation, I hope to begin work in the UK film industry as a costume trainee or assistant designer in order to better my knowledge and understanding of costume design for film.
