Data Storm

In a futuristic, fictional world, the Data Storm virtual fashion collection is designed to safeguard avatars composed of intricate data streams from hazardous environmental conditions. These avatars face frequent and perilous 'data storms' that possess both physical and digital threats, causing land erosion and avatar damage. The collection acts as a dual protective system, functioning as advanced outerwear and digital firewalls. This innovative design ensures the avatars' protection against data storms, allowing them to fulfil their tasks amidst environmental challenges.

For my final major project collection, I used CLO3D and Lectra Modaris to create my whole collection. Starting digitally, I slowly work my way to physical and back to digital to ensure that my work translates perfectly between the two. What I love about digital fashion is how it can be applied to assist manual production and how it can create sustainable solutions for current issues. Using this collection as a stepping stone, I will continue to work in digital fashion in a Master's project – I have started preparing by experimenting with body scanning, and how it can be applied into a marketable strategy that will convince consumers to buy into digital fashion.
