How to Apply

The application process for international students is the same as UK students. To learn more about the application process and how you can apply, please select the appropriate degree level from those listed below

Postgraduate

One of the reasons I chose AUB is because I wanted to study a design course without losing the experience of campus lifestyle – I love the engagement between tutors and students. The history and culture in the UK really allows me to explore a lot of new aspects of art and design. Also, I have the chance to travel across European countries while studying in the UK, which is definitely a bonus!

Entry Requirements

Our entry requirements vary depending on what sort of course you're choosing to study.

Foundation

Applicants from Malaysia should present the STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia) (Malaysia Higher School Certificate) with an overall grade of B or better.

Undergraduate

Applicants from Malaysia should present the STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia) (Malaysia Higher School Certificate) with an overall grade of B or better.

We will also consider other relevant recognised qualifications completed after SPM – such as an international foundation year – for admission to degree courses. Prospective applicants interested in applying for AUB courses on the basis of non-STPM qualifications should contact AUB admissions admissions@aub.ac.uk for advice. Please include the full name of the institution and the full name of the qualification (and, if possible, a link to the website outlining the course details) in the message.

Postgraduate

You will usually have BA (Hons) Degree graded at 2.1 or above, or an equivalent UK or international qualification in your chosen subject or a related discipline. We encourage application from students with a broad range of qualifications and we welcome students from all educational backgrounds. We will take into account the knowledge and skills that you have developed outside the classroom as well as your previous qualifications.
