Creative Digital Photography and Post-production (Stage 2)
In this special summer edition of Saturday Art School, young artists aged 11-15 have the chance to advance their digital photography skills and explore the creative possibilities using post-production.

Please note that there's no session on Saturday 6 May due to the Coronation of King Charles III.

Classes will take place on AUB's campus
Your young artist will be taught in AUB's industry-standard studios with access to professional resources.
Who's this course for?
This course has been developed for aspiring photographers aged 11-15.
This is an introductory course, so your young artist doesn't need any previous experience, just buckets of enthusiasm! However, your young artist will especially benefit from this course if they've already completed our Digital Photography Saturday Art School course or if they already possess some photography skills.

This course is designed for budding creatives to be curious, playful, and eager to learn more about and immerse themselves in the world of digital photography.
Your young artist will learn alongside up to 16 other like-minded youngsters, make friends, and have fun along the way.

About this course
This special summer edition of Saturday Art School gives young artists aged 11-15 the chance to broaden their creative horizons by advancing their digital photography skills and exploring post-production techniques to elevate their final images.
Your young artist will discover their creative visual voice, improve their practical and technical skills, and discover the creative possibilities that post-production techniques has to offer, all delivered in a fun, immersive and inspirational manner.
Your young artist will take advantage of AUB's visually inspirational campus, and undertake a series of immersive practical photographic projects. These projects will advance their photographic knowledge and skills that are essential for generating technically proficient, creative photography and learn new progressive techniques.
Through their projects, our young artists will develop their unique visual voices, build their visual awareness, and seek out opportunities to showcase their individual flair and style.
They'll also undertake captivating post-production exercises in one of our specialist digital suites using Apple Macs and Photoshop, the go-to industry-standard image editing software for creative professionals. Combining fun and advanced post-production techniques your young artist will compliment and enhance their imaging and produce captivating and illuminating images to add to their portfolios.
Your young artist will be expertly led by our specialist photography tutor, Kristin Rebane, and she'll support and encourage their ideas at every turn. Her teaching will include talks, demonstrations, and highly practical activities delivered in a fun and interactive fashion that provoke student interaction, sharing of ideas and collective evaluation of work produced.

Kristin Rebane
Kristin's background is in fine art and photography, and her practice includes an array of mediums.
Creative digital photography gallery
Your young artist will develop a range of new photography skills and post-production editing techniques using industry-standard software Photoshop. They'll learn advanced camera functions and controls and prepare for themed portraiture and advertising photoshoots. After taking their photos, your young artist will experiment with post-production editing tools to inject flair and a variety of creative effects. All projects will unleash your young artist's imagination and allow their voice to shine through.
