Before my life-changing experiences at university, I didn’t have much in the way of formal training, relying on school dance lessons and free classes to fuel my desire to dance. My intense love for the art form, a wonderful support system, and an incessant work ethic has allowed me to follow my passion, both in higher education and beyond. I love to dance and want to spend my life sharing that love, joy, and passion with as many people as possible through performance and community practice.
Plans after degree
I hope to use the variety of skills instilled upon me by the talented team at AUB to become a professional dance performer, as well as to set up a volunteering programme that brings free dance lessons to children who are suffering from life-limiting or life-shortening illnesses. I am exceptionally proud of my dance journey and I owe a lot to the students and staff at AUB, who have shown me all sides of being a dance practitioner and supported me throughout my three years here.
