As the painter of this painting is from Thailand, her experience of moving to the UK inspired this project. This is an oil painting of Koh Phi Phi or Phi Phi Island, which is located in the Southern part of Thailand, where many people love to spend their holiday at. “I miss the sunlight,” she said. 

Her intention for this painting is to serve the refreshing feeling during summer to the audiences through the beach in Thailand as Thailand is one of the countries that has the sunshine all year round. Moreover, as this is the last project for her foundation year, it’s a perfect time for her to spend her holiday in her home country by going to the beach as well.
