My major themes explore self-image and self-esteem, recognising the subject’s life potential and/or existing struggles. 

In my practice, I experiment with these themes because the concept of people’s personal lives or issues being hidden from others intrigues me. Whether it’s an event or something mentally, the fact that no matter how well you think you understand someone, there’s always something they keep to themselves. You never know what’s truly going on and this thought finds its way into my art.

I plan to continue with my practice alongside learning to become an art therapist.
