My work specialises in bringing characters and their costumes to life through digital illustrations and thoughtful designs.

This year, as a personal project, I created a book that explores the dress of different social classes from the Tudor period through original characters. This allowed me to design and illustrate costumes that captured personalities while displaying period accurate fashion.

I also worked as a co-costume designer for a short experimental film called Fair Winds and Following Seas. The film follows the story of a terminally ill ex-navy man, living on his own in an unkempt house, struggling with the everyday. As part of the design process, I produced digital illustrations to accurately represent the costumes we planned to use in the film, this gave the actors and director a clear expectation of what the costumes looked like prior to filming.

Plans after degree

Following graduation, I plan to enrol in postgraduate education to improve and refine my illustration skills and industry knowledge. I am excited to challenge myself and experiment with new concepts that push the limits of digital costume rendering.

I am eager to begin my journey in the costume industry following my studies and look forward to what the future holds.
