Isaac Redgrave
In his final year, Isaac took on many challenges both on stage and screen, as well as in other roles. On stage, he performed as the murderous Laurent in Fiona Ross’ genre-bending and surreal adaption of Emile Zola’s Thérèse Raquin, and later conversely played the caring lover, Peter Mathews, in Luke Kernaghan’s The Ballad of Maria Marten, as well as being a part of the choral ensemble throughout.
Alongside this, they had the chance to assistant direct AUB Productions’ first dual-cast piece, Goldoni’s comedy La Casa Nova, with two versions set in two entirely different eras, at the Palace Court Theatre. Over their time at AUB, Isaac featured in multiple short films in collaboration with students from both AUB’s film school and BU, and made many useful connections.
Plans after degree
After graduating and returning to their hometown of Brighton, Isaac plans to continue creating and developing their own work whilst also auditioning for and seeking out both acting and crewing roles in theatre and film, especially in the local area.
He also plans on continuing to develop and co-write a stage project which began in the Negotiated Practice unit, alongside fellow BA (Hons) Acting graduate Charlie Sibley, with both of them hoping to one day stage the piece.
