“The event consisted of an opening ceremony attended by President Macron and HH Sheikh Mohammed, Ruler of Dubai, followed by a series of events including fireworks and lasers projected off the dome structure of the museum.

For the public days, a multicultural, wide range of performers attended from France, China, New Zealand, South Korea, New York, Colombia and Mali.

My role throughout the event was General Project Co-ordinator and Artist Support/Liaison.

I can now say I am a pro at drafting contracts, taking meeting minutes, creating PowerPoints, post-event reporting and overseeing budget reconciliation… on top of everything else!

It was one of the most stressful events I’ve worked on and all my professional colleagues agreed, but it was a huge success and all the artists, VIPs and public audience had an enjoyable and exciting visit.”
