Industry-engagement and our strong maker culture puts collaboration at the heart of everything we do.
As fellow innovators, Lush shares AUB’s vision of discovering new ways to create new products and push the boundaries of design.
We're proud to partner with them through our Associate Programme.
Since establishing over 27 years ago, Lush has been driven by innovation and its ethics. Creators of pioneering beauty products such as the fizzing bath bomb, shower jellies and solid shampoo bars, Lush places emphasis on fresh ingredients like organic fruits and vegetables. Lush fights tirelessly against animal testing and operates a thoroughly comprehensive Ethical Buying department, developing fair and direct trade initiatives. Lush leads the cosmetics industry in combating over-packaging by running public awareness campaigns and developing products that can be sold ‘naked’ to the consumer without any packaging.
Today Lush operates in 47 countries with over 900 shops, 38 websites shipping worldwide and a global network of native apps, broadcasting channels and digital communities in over 30 languages.
AUB x Lush partnership
Lush is made up of teams of curious explorers, expressive creators and passionate experimenters. They love to discover new ways to create new products, new ways of enjoying them, and never stop searching for the best ways how to make their products available and accessible for their customers and themselves. This line of thinking aligns Lush perfectly with AUB Innovation Studio's own ethos and desire to innovate through creative design thinking.
A lot of Lush projects start because someone has asked the questions, 'wouldn’t it be cool if....'. Very often, this is the kick-off to a series of hands-on projects, exploring the possibilities of products they only imagined in their dreams and seemed impossible.
By working with the AUB Innovation Studio Lush are hoping to get greater access to tools and machinery that can support their curiosity in making and a chance to connect with like minded people to explore new ideas.
