AUB was voted the highest-ranked modern university in the South West by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.
We invest heavily in industry-standard technology and spaces that equip you for life in the creative industries. We want you to get used to the equipment and facilities you’ll find in the real world.

Collaboration on every corner
The best work happens when different disciplines come together. Everyone here is a creator, and you’ll get the chance to collaborate with them.
No creative subject stands alone at AUB. Cross fertilisation of ideas and techniques benefits everyone and it’s exactly how students will experience the real world.
Our collaborations extend beyond courses that work together, to the wider university world and links with industry.
Every year we also turn the university into the largest creative agency on the south coast for 24 hours. Sign up and you’ll have the opportunity to work on briefs from some of the most innovative brands today. Past briefs have come from Virgin, Bestival and the RNLI.
Our AUB community works to make the world a better place, using creativity to offer solutions to the inequalities and injustices that they see in the world.
Our students and staff are using their skills to engage with some of the most pressing issues that are facing the human race today, making a positive change for global good. You can read more about this here.
