AUB celebrates 97.7% graduate employment rate* – a result which puts AUB in the top 5 of all the 160 plus universities and colleges awarding degrees in the UK.

If there was any doubt it also proves that creative degrees lead to careers.

A 6m travelling pink shell may seem like an unusual approach but that is the latest instalment of a new campaign to promote the employability of AUB graduates.

The shell is designed to show the value of creativity and how surprise and arresting people’s attention is a valuable skill that can lead to careers.

The pink shell has popped up in various locations around the country. Visitors entering the shell discover a glowing neon sign of the number ‘97.7%’.

This integrated campaign comprises ambient event “shell happenings” with social media in the form of Facebook and a tumblr blog.

The campaign also features a ‘snap the shell’ photography competition, plus national press and on-line advertising in the Independent and I papers.

Additionally, editorial in the Independent and I features AUB and an AUB alumni case study.

The shell has already turned heads in such publications as Creative Review who featured it as number 1 image in November’s Grid – the Creative Review round up of the best images of the month. It has also features on leading design blogs like Creative Boom.

No wonder the AUB has been voted Britain’s No. 1 creative university in Which? University Guide.
