We run lively workshops for schools, both in TheGallery and off campus at schools.
This year, we will be holding the following workshops that relate to our varied exhibitions:
lucienne day: living designs
Our Lucienne Day exhibition is a centenary celebration of the birth and design legacy of one of Britain’s most influential textile designers.
This exhibition traces Lucienne Day’s design career through a photographic history, which unfolds in a sequence of images drawn from the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.
We have two workshops available for this exhibition, available for a maximum of 10 students:
Thursday 9 March – 1.00-3.00pm
Wednesday 22 March – 12.30-2.30pm
jerwood drawing prize
A touring exhibition presented in collaboration with Bath Spa University, supported by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation and Jerwood Visual Arts.
The largest and longest-running annual open exhibition for drawing in the UK, this exhibition showcases the work of UK-based drawing practitioners, from student to established, helping to define a wider understanding of the role of drawing in creative practice.
We will be running two workshops on Thursday 6 April, from 10am to 12.00pm and from 1.00-3.00pm.
Workshops are subject to availability.
If you are interested in the workshops above, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01202 363208 for availability and more details.
We also offer a variety of activities and opportunities to help those from under-represented groups to raise awareness of creative subjects at university. Find out more about Widening Participation.
