There’s more than one route into studying in our creative community. From Evening & Saturday Courses, to Foundation and BA courses, to research degrees, you’ll find a path through AUB that suits you. Simply select the course level you’d like to study.
Level 4 BA (Hons) Textiles students complete a 4 week Live Brief with Tigerprint.
The summer term involves Level 4 students going out on placement to gain industry experience. Students either go to work directly with textile, fashion or interior companies or work as freelance designers on a live project.
Level 4 BA (Hons) Textiles student Yana Sealy-Bell completes a two week placement at Bay & Brown, Print Design Studio.
“I recently completed a two-week placement at a textile design studio in London called Bay & Brown.
VIVE Designs, established in 2014 by Textiles Graduate Sarah King to display her work at this years British Craft Trade Fair.
VIVE Designs, the all acryclic homeware brand, will be exhibiting new contemporary Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the British Craft Trade Fair for the first time this year, in the Newcomers gallery. VIVE Designs will be showing the full range of ‘VIVE HOME’ products as well as the ‘VIVE PLAY’ board game collection.
Third year BA (Hons) Textiles student, Jemma Pratt, is the winner of the ‘Textile Society Student Bursary Award’.
She told us more:

A selection of work, from students in their first year of the BA (Hons) Textiles course, have been entered into the It’s Our World gallery.
The It’s Our World online gallery is an online collection of drawings and paintings by young people across the UK to help promote sustainable thinking and environmental awareness.
Graduating students from Textiles had the opportunity to exhibit at New Designers, Part One 2014 at the Business Design Centre Islington
The Show was open to the public from 25th – 28th June. The AUB, BA Textiles stand showcased 20 graduates work, covering a broad range of skills within the textiles specialism. There were also four 2013 Textile graduates exhibiting at New Designers One Year On; Chloe Atkins, Georgia Bocchetta, Ruby Marquet-Horwood and Emilie Osborne.
