Biography

Samantha is a fully qualified Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 2010.  She completed her postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management at Bournemouth University in 2008 and has a BA (Hons) Business Studies Degree. Samantha has 15 years of HR experience across a range of sectors and has gained HR generalist and HR project management experience at organisations including Siemens, Accenture, Barclays, the Public Sector and NHS. Samantha undertook postgraduate study to advance her career in Human Resources and gained specialist HR knowledge. Samantha is the HR Partner for a defined client base at AUB and provides specialist professional HR generalist and advisory support to managers and staff which covers the full spectrum of the employment cycle.  This includes organisational change, performance management, managing absence, reward and benefits, employee engagement, equality and diversity, recruitment and selection, training and development to meet the University’s strategic plan and objectives. Samantha manages a wide range of employee relations cases and advises managers and staff on policy and procedures covering the employment life cycle, as well as leading and contributing to operational and specialist HR projects. This includes supporting the University with the delivery of the HR Plan, and working in partnership with managers to meet the University’s strategic objectives.
