Sheila Hall

Secretariat Manager and Executive Assistant to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor – Secretariat



Sheila has over 30 years’ experience working in both the private and public sectors, providing executive administrative support.

Sheila started her career in banking then worked for the NHS for 10 years as the Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive of a Primary Care Trust.

After working in Social Housing for the Chief Executive of a Housing Association , Sheila became the Assistant to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor at the Arts University Bournemouth, a position she has held for the past 16 years.


Professional practice

Sheila provides executive support to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Chairman of the Board and Chancellor and is the first point of contact for the Vice-Chancellor’s office in relation to internal and external communications.

In her daily duties, Sheila also acts as the Secretary to the University Leadership Team (ULT) and manages the Secretariat for the Vice-Chancellor’s office and its team members.
