This conference paper was given at Visualising the Home at The University of Cumbria on 13th July 2017. It examined how location and place are essential to, and evocative of, home. It analysed the experiences of British migrants in Melbourne through a consideration of how home is located and understood before, during, and after migration and reviewed my visual ethnographic methods, which were key to unfolding the multiplicity of home in this migratory context.
