Lisa studied at Bournemouth University and in 2010 qualified in Human Resource Management at Masters level. She has been employed as a HR professional in generalist roles for the last 13 years. Before joining the University she worked for Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd. As Personnel and Training Manager she oversaw and supervised the operational team in a wide range of generalist activities, supported and advised both management and non-management on policies, legislation and procedures and provided comprehensive advice and guidance around all aspects of Employee Relations. In addition she project managed various stages of Sainsbury’s HR Change Programme and implemented new HR Systems.Lisa’s HR experience to date and HRM qualification has been beneficial in her current role as Senior Human Resources Officer at the University.
Lisa oversees and supervises the HR operations team’s implementation of HR processes and procedures, relating to the service provision of a wide range of professional HR Generalist activities e.g. Recruitment, supplier relations; HR policy and procedure development; employment contracts; HR projects and HR reporting.
She provides effective advice and support covering the full spectrum of the employment cycle (including resourcing & recruitment; payroll, pensions) to both internal and external stakeholders and ensures that HR Systems are maintained and able to produce reliable and accurate management information reports.
